Both versions you published here are really beautiful! Do you have any experience with photoshop? I personally prefer this second version the most just because its a little less busy and has great contrast within the photo. But I also like how you multiplied the trees in the first version.
I like that this photo has been desaturated a bit because it exaggerates the foggy dullness of dusk. It looks very quiet and reflective.
I can't wait to see how you introduce the photo of yourself into this, because right now you're very much on the right track.
